Held on Tuesday, November 25, at Cidade do Futebol, the draw for the round of 16 of the 2025/26 Portuguese Cup determined that Benfica will face Farense (Liga 2) away from home. The match is scheduled to kick off at 8:45 pm on December 17 (Wednesday) at the Estádio de São Luís in Faro, the FPF announced this Friday, November 28.

Advancing in the competition, the Eagles, away from home, will face the winner of FC Porto-Famalicão in the quarterfinals, also drawn on Tuesday.

In 2025/26, the Glorioso will be seeking its 27th Portuguese Cup trophy.

Triumph for Dedic
