The moment Prestianni shoots for the goal
It was José Mourinho's first move to change the course of the game that took place on Saturday, November 29.
On the pitch since the 58th minute – at a time when the score was still nil-nil – it was in the 89th minute, when the result was unfavorable to the Reds (1-0), that he reached his peak in the match.
On the right side, the forward entered the area and, with a powerful and unstoppable shot, tied the score (1-1). Shortly after, in the 90th minute +5, Pavlidis completed Benfica's comeback (1-2)!
Crowned Man of the Match, it was after receiving this award that Prestianni expressed his “great happiness” at Benfica's victory on Madeira soil.
"The truth is that I'm very happy. The victory was very important for us. We already know that Sporting is coming up next, and this gives us even more confidence to face the derby," he explained to Sport TV.
In addition to considering it unfair that the Eagles were at a disadvantage, the Argentine international emphasized the importance of leaving the Estádio da Madeira with three points: “It was very important. It wasn't fair that we were losing. They scored a goal, but thanks to God and all the hard work of the team, who never gave up, we managed to secure the victory.”

Regarding the goal, the striker revealed that he thought about passing the ball, but opted to shoot, explaining why.
“I had also thought about passing to Pavli [Pavlidis] to make an assist, but when I saw that the defender had dropped back, I didn't hesitate and shot at goal,” he said.
As for the derby against Sporting [on matchday 13 of the Liga Betclic and scheduled for Friday, December 5, at 8:15 pm, at Estádio da Luz], the forward was concise: “We need to work and fight.”
Regarding the moment he is experiencing with the eagle on his chest, Prestianni pointed the way forward. “I have a contract with Benfica, I am very focused here. I am working to get more opportunities, more minutes, and right now I am very focused on Benfica,” he said, before revealing that he has been working to get opportunities: “I work every day for that, so I will continue to work, as I always do.”
