Story behind the jersey:
It was the 1967/68 season and Benfica was facing Saint-Étienne, the French champion, in the 2nd knockout round of the European Champion Clubs Cup. They had won the match in Luz (2-0) but in the second round, the French team scored a goal in the 10th minute. In the 80 minutes that followed, José Henrique was outstanding and ensured Benfica's passage to the next round. In that season, Benfica would reach its fifth European final.
