Rui Costa, President of Sport Lisboa e Benfica, attended the Portugal Football Globes Gala on Tuesday evening, October 7, organized by the Portuguese Football Federation, at which the Club's women's football team was honored with the Globe Sports Merit Award. On the sidelines of the event, which took place at the FPF Arena Portugal in Oeiras, Rui Costa addressed the media and discussed various current issues involving the Eagles, particularly Conti. "The Benfica members should remain calm and composed, because this is not a process that will have any further implications for Benfica. As it opens, I am convinced that it will close, because it is a process that has been more than explained, so there are no attempts at fraud, corruption, nothing," stressed the President.
