Educational Offer

The Benfica Museum - Cosme Damião believes in education as the strongest pillar of active citizenship and in sport as a way of fostering individual and collective values. It is under this premise that it develops its activities aimed at schools, teachers and students.

Based on the history of the Club, Portugal and the world, we develop pedagogical landscapes that stimulate critical thinking, reflection and curiosity.

The Benfica Museum's educational project embraces all school-age students and calls on teachers and educators as key agents for a successful learning process.

Visits by school groups require previous and mandatory booking, whether they are free or part of the Educational Offer activities. Bookings must be made at least two weeks in advance.

In addition to a visit to the Museum, it is also possible to visit the Sport Lisboa e Benfica Stadium. Prior booking is also required.

To formalise the booking request, please fill in an online form, available here. The Museum team will then contact the person responsible for the request to follow up the process.

There are special prices and conditions for school groups, available on request.

The Museum is part of the Lisbon City Council's School Passport programme, which applies to students from public schools in the municipality of Lisbon. Transport under this programme is subject to prior booking and confirmation.
