In the 2024/2025 season, Sport Lisboa e Benfica (the Club), together with Sport Lisboa e Benfica –
Futebol, SAD
(Benfica SAD), reinforced its commitment to transparency and to creating value for society.
The publication of its first Sustainability Report involved extensive consultation
and collaboration across several internal areas and with external stakeholders, including the Club’s
Members and supporters.
This process enables action on the environmental, social and governance (ESG) impacts, risks and
opportunities associated with the activities of the Club, Benfica SAD, and their value chain.
As part of the Redy Project, the report follows a new strategic direction "Win in All
Fields", which structures the actions of the Club and Benfica SAD around four key pillars:
- "Win Well" - Strengthening ethics and transparency
- "Win at Home" - Investing in infrastructure, athletes and employees
- "Win Away" - Creating value through partnerships
- "Win for Many" - Expanding social impact by engaging the community
Through this project, the Club and Benfica SAD aim to influence behaviours, foster a culture of sustainability and demonstrate that sport is a powerful force for a better world.
