The Estádio da Luz will host the matches of SL Benfica's women’s football team in the 2025/26 UEFA Women’s Champions League. The national five-time champions start the competition against Juventus, in Turin, on October 7 (5:45 pm), and make the first match in the Cathedral on October 16, at 8:00 pm, on matchday 2 of the competition, against Arsenal.

Ivan Lima: the debut for the first team

At the age of 20, Ivan Lima had the opportunity to make his official debut in competition for Sport Lisboa e Benfica's first team. In Chaves, on the night of October 17, with the number 90 on the back of the Sacred Mantle, the young forward/winger trained at the Club was brought on by José Mourinho in the 90th minute and was able to participate in the Eagles' 2-0 victory in the third round of the Portuguese Cup.The match had only two minutes of added time, but Ivan Lima still managed to make his mark on the right side of the attack: he won the only duel he faced, recovered a ball, and was fouled.
