With great merit for the way they imposed themselves in the derby that took place on Saturday afternoon, October 4, Benfica's women's volleyball team beat Sporting 3-0 and won the Super Cup played at the Pavilhão Municipal de Estremoz. It was the second time the Eagles lifted the trophy!

Champions League: heading to London with high expectations

The Benfica team departed on Monday, September 29, from Humberto Delgado Airport bound for London, where they will face Chelsea at Stamford Bridge at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday in a match from round 2 of the Champions League. The red delegation was led by President Rui Costa, who reaffirmed the club's European ambition to the media: “[Our expectations] are always the same: to win. It's not an easy game, but we're going there to get a good result, obviously.”
