Dominating the national scene, Benfica's women's roller hockey team celebrated yet another victory. In the Elite Cup final, the twelve-time national champions beat Sanjoanense (2-1) and lifted the trophy for the fourth consecutive time.

With four goals in the semi-final, Maria Sofia Silva was the Elite Cup's top scorer and was awarded the respective trophy.

Next weekend, the teams will meet again in the Super Cup, scheduled for Saturday, October 11, at the same venue.
