Kökcü scored and provided an assist in the 2-all draw against Arouca, in the game from matchday 29 of the Liga Betclic, and was named Man of the Match for the match held at the Estádio da Luz on Sunday, April 13.

In the 60th minute, the Eagles' No. 10 opened the scoring (1-0) with a shot into the top right corner of the Arouquense goal. In the 80th minute, Kökcü crossed to the far post for Pavlidis to head in (2-1).

In addition to the goal and assist, the Turkish international also had a pass accuracy of 79% (37 right from 47 attempts) and won 3 duels.

Speaking to BTV, Kökcü expressed his sadness at the outcome of the match and thanked the Benfica fans for their support. "What can I say? We played to win the game, we were ahead twice, but they came back. The only thing we can do now is thank the fans for their incredible support. We didn't win this game, and we're upset about that," he said.
