Two-time national champions! After winning game 1 of the Liga Betclic Women's play-off final against Esgueira (73-80), Benfica's women's basketball team needed a win to end this best-of-3 series, and they did so on Sunday, May 11, beating their rivals 78-75 after overtime.

In individual terms, Raphaella Monteiro was the MVP of the game and the final, with 17 points and 19 rebounds. Once the trophy had been handed over to the basketballer, the Cup followed!

Lots of celebrating to the sound of the emblematic We are the Champions. Grateful for the support, the players and coaching staff greeted the fans and celebrated yet another achievement.

As well as the national title, the Eagles were successful in the Super Cup and the Vítor Hugo Cup.
