"It's always a good feeling [to be named Man of the Match in the first clássico in Portugal], but it ended 0-0, so it would have been even better if we had won the three points. Playing at FC Porto's home ground isn't easy. We fought hard, it was a difficult game, but we move forward," he said.
Dedic assessed the team's performance in the match. "We played well, defended well, we could have been more offensive, attacked more, created more chances, but in a game like this, away from home, it's not easy. So, first and foremost, the most important thing is not to concede goals, and that's what we achieved. We move forward. Of course, we can always play better, we look forward to it, and we will work towards it," he highlighted.
The Bosnia and Herzegovina international spoke about his motivation to work with José Mourinho.
"The coach gives us positive energy every day in training. We fight for the team, for the club, and for the coach. We give our best, we feel good, and we want to keep winning games, to win again. We're going to fight," he said.
Dedic also recalled José Mourinho's message for this match against FC Porto.
"It was going to be a difficult game, also because of the atmosphere and everything else. The idea was to stay compact, to stay united as a team. I think we managed to do that. We didn't get the three points, but we'll fight for them next time," he concluded.
