Benfica secured their place in the round of 16 of the UEFA Futsal Champions League by beating Riga (1-6) in the second match of Group 3 of Path A of the Main Round of the competition. The game took place at the Tal-Qroqq University Sports Hall (Malta) on Thursday, October 30.

After beating Loznica-Grad 2018 9-0 in the opening round on Wednesday, the national champions set out to secure a place in the next stage of the competition, which will debut a new format in 2025/26 (the top three teams in the group will advance to the next knockout stage).

Arthur 

To close this mini-tournament in Malta, the Eagles will face Luxol St. Andrews, the host team. The game is scheduled for Saturday, November 1, at 6:00 pm, at the same venue.
