Benfica's women's football and futsal teams won several awards for 2023/24 at the 2nd edition of the Champions Gala. The event took place on Tuesday, September 10, in the Salão Preto e Prata of the Casino Estoril. Football was distinguished in the following categories: Liga BPI Player of the Year (Francisca Nazareth, transferred to Barcelona), Merit Award (Filipa Patão, nominated for Best Coach of the Year, in a distinction from France Football and UEFA), Liga BPI Best Eleven of the Year (presences of Carole Costa, Christy Ucheibe, Lúcia Alves, Andreia Faria, Andreia Norton and Francisca Nazareth; Beatriz Cameirão, who returned to the Club for 2024/25 season, also included in the batch), Best Coach (Filipa Patão) and Champions Award. In futsal, the Eagles were part of the Best Five of the Year (Ana Catarina, Maria Pereira and Janice Silva), winning the Player of the Year trophy (Janice Silva) and the Champions Award.
