On Monday, December 9, judoka Telma Monteiro announced the end of her sporting career. It's been “24 very special years”, 17 of which have been spent with an eagle on her chest and, at the time of his farewell, there is “eternal gratitude”. “I'm ending my career exactly as I wanted to, with the feeling that I've given everything I had to give, and that everything was as it should be,” she said.
