Sport Lisboa e Benfica announces that it has reached an agreement with Moreirense Futebol Clube for the permanent transfer of Francisco Domingues.

This is a new challenge for “Kiko,” as he is nicknamed in the world of soccer, after a long career with the eagle on his chest.

The full-back joined Benfica's football schools at Estádio da Luz at the age of five and progressed through all the official youth ranks at SL Benfica, up to the B team.

During this time, he was U-15 national champion in, winner of the Under-20 Intercontinental Cup, and captain of the team that, last season, equaled SL Benfica B's best ever ranking in the Portuguese second division (fourth place).

In total, he played 57 games in the second tier of Portuguese football.

At this moment, as he prepares to embark on a new stage in his career in the top league, Sport Lisboa e Benfica wishes Francisco Domingues sincere success, both professionally and personally.
